Hello whalewatchers: We had another great day with calm seas and no wind. After overnight in Agua Verde the group went ashore for a walk and a good snorkel seesion with great visibility and lots of fish. We went by Roca Solitaire for a look at some boobies and then offshore for more whales and dolphins.
We were lucky enough to see the same pair of male sperm whales in the same area. We stayed for one surfacing each and then continued south for some thing different. We saw a Bryde’s whale and got some great looks. Then a group of about 50 pilot whales. We continue to add to the species list on this trip.
We ended the day with margaritas and jumping smooth-tail mobulas. Then we anchored in Puerto Gato for sunset and a buffet on the back deck. What a day!
