Hello whalewatchers:
Our Immigrations and Customs check in Ensenada for our entry in Mexico went smoothly and we were on our way south. It turned out to be a fantastic dolphin day here on Searcher! At one point, we estimated 3000 common dolphins were around us.

Hello whalewatchers:
If you’ve been to Los Islotes, you know just how fun it is to snorkel with sea lions, and today was no exception.
We also made a stop at Ensenada Grande on Isla Espiritu Santo and enjoyed our traditional back-deck BBQ dinner,

Hello whalewatchers:
We spent part of the day at Agua Verde. Everyone loved the beach and areas to explore ashore for birds and plants. And then a snorkel here was productive too.

We enjoyed the colorful sunrise at Isla San Jose as the sandstone cliffs lit up with the rising sun. Passengers had a great walk ashore and then a snorkel here too. We spent the afternoon whalewatching and found a blue whale to watch as well. We also enjoyed lots of seabird sightings this afternoon.

Hello whalewatchers:
We spent our day watching humpback whales off the coast of Cabo San Lucas and around the cape region. We are enjoying the good weather for travel and whalewatching.
Heading into the Sea of Cortez for the rest of our tour.

Hello whalewatchers:
Once again the productive area offshore Bahia Magdalena is where we found lots of marine life to observe: blue, fin, and humpback whales; loggerhead sea turtles, common dolphins, and lots of seabirds.
We have beautiful weather to continue our travel south, towards Cabo San Lucas.

Hello whalewatchers:
Great whalewatching and weather this morning and plenty of close encounters with gray whales for all. We all had a successful trip to the mangroves for those interested.
