Patti Schick
Field biologist, educator, scientific writer and marine life graphics developer, Patti specializes in whales and other marine mammals.
Patti started in her career as a marine biologist by studying harbor seals in northern California while completing her degree from San Francisco State University. She brought her skills to education at Sea World San Diego’s Education Department through teaching, offering tours, training other marine educators, and developing education materials.
Currently working in San Diego’s maritime industry, Patti tracks marine life sightings from San Diego into the Sea of Cortez in Baja California, Mexico. We welcome her aboard Searcher frequently to provide her expertise and enthusiasm for all things marine in Baja California!
